Fort Worden is a historical gathering place that hosts over 500 events and sees over 1.5 million visitors per year.  Double D Electrical works regularly with Fort Worden, performing nearly 100 separate jobs there over the years.  During the large remodel of Fort Worden, Double D Electrical was called in by the General Contractors in charge of the Project to upgrade wiring in the historical buildings at Fort Worden. Additionally we have replaced transformers, installed and moved generators, replaced power lines, done high voltage work, repaired and replaced parking lights and many other electrically related tasks that keep Fort Worden a safe and comfortable tourist destination for everyone to enjoy.

Kitsap Transit is a well known public transportation service based out of Bremerton, WA. which allows citizens of Kitsap County to commute and/or travel as needed affordably & efficiently.  Public transportation helps citizens reduce their carbon footprint and in many situations shortens their commute time. One of the ways that Kitsap Transit has made ride sharing and public transportation easier is the implementation of transfer centers across the county. Double D Electrical has been chosen by Kitsap Transit to work with them on several of these Transfer Stations including the station located at the ferry terminal on Bainbridge Island, the transfer center on Wheaton Way in Bremerton, the North Viking Park & Ride in Poulsbo, WA. and many other projects that help citizens of Kitsap County get around as needed.

The Port Townsend Food Co-op is a member owned organic market serving the Jefferson County, WA. community since 1972. Almost 50% of the produce that stocks the shelves of The Food Co-op comes from local farmers.
